Wrong Iron: the main railroad track, on which traffic is running in the opposite direction.
Wrong Iron was born from a love of Louisiana living and inspired by the beautiful Lafitte Greenway where we’re located. The Lafitte Greenway covers over two linear miles in the city, following an old disused railroad line. We set up shop in the location of a long forgotten factory, and in keeping with the history of the land, designed Wrong Iron to have a vintage rail station feel.
Our location is in the heart of Mid-City. We’re in great company of many other locally owned small businesses all working together to revitalize the neighborhood. With our spot on the Lafitte Greenway, we have dedicated ourselves to ensuring a beautiful outdoor green space for everyone to enjoy.
We’re lucky to live in a city where the weather is always great for spending time on a patio. We’re so serious about our porch sitting that we made Wrong Iron’s patio center stage. It gives plenty of room to slow down, relax, and enjoy time with your friends. Ride in on your bike, or jog up with your pup, and enjoy a great New Orleans patio bar.
